Jordan DePaul‘s most personal song off his new EP “Forces” has hit another streaming milestone. This week, Brighter Shade of Blue reached 500,000 plays on Spotify!

“It’s pretty unbelievable,” says Jordan. “We didn’t release the song as any kind of official single or have a video for it. I guess it’s just a song that resonates with people.”

The song was written about Jordan’s father who passed away from cancer.

“I remember [my dad] saying he was afraid to die because he didn’t give enough time to God,” says Jordan. “Thats what Brighter Shade of Blue is about: ‘When I reach the other side, I wanna know that I did my time.'”
